JEE Main 2021 Phase I (February) has been scheduled for February 23  – 26, 2021. As informed by Union Education Minister, JEE Main 2021 will be conducted in four sessions i.e. in February, March, April and May.

The last date to fill and submit JEE Main 2021 application form is January 16. However, the payment of application fees can be done in online mode until January 17.

JEE Main 2021 Registration deadline has now been extended until January 23, 2021. Candidates can pay the application fee by January 24, 2021.

⬤JEE Main 2021 Paper 1 for B.Tech will have 90 questions. There will be 30 questions in each subject of Physics, Chemistry. and Math, that are segmented into two sections.

⬤Section A will have 20 questions while section B will have 10 questions. Total 10 questions asked in Section B, candidates are supposed to answer just half.

⬤Candidates will be required to solve 75 questions. For 15 optional questions, there will be no negative marking.

⬤Candidates to submit category certificate along with JEE Main Application. Students request removal of 75% eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2021.

JEE Main eligibility 2021 Qualification

Qualifying exam for JEE Main: Class 12^th Board exam/Intermediate examination or equivalent examination as listed by NTA.

Age Limit: There is no age limit for the candidates.

Qualifying Year of 10+2 level exam: Candidates passed Qualifying exam in year 2019, 2020 or appearing in 2021 and will be appearing in 2021 are eligible for JEE Main 2021.

Subjects: Candidates should have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects  along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subject. in their qualifying examination & Candidates must have passed with 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% in aggregate of the QE to sit B.E/ B. Tech.

Number of Attempts: Candidates can take the exam maximum for 3 years consecutively. Candidates can sit for all four sessions- February, March, April and May sessions. All of these will be counted as a single attempt.
