As we know that JEE Main 2021 Exam Final result has been declared and all the students who wants to take admission in Bihar Engineering Colleges are in doubt after Bihar Combined Education Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) Official Notice about Admission in Bihar Engineering College on the basis of Candidates Rank/Score/Marks in BCECE Exam 2021 through UGEAC Counselling.


What is BCECE Board ?

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) is constituted under BCECE Act, 1995 . It conducts competitive examinations every year for admissions in various professional courses of Medical, Engineering and Agricultural streams in the Institutions of the state of Bihar.

About BCECE Exam

BCECE Exam is conducted to take admission in Pharmacy, Medical, Agriculture Degree Colleges of Bihar. 
An Official Notice was released on 14 august 2021 written that if all the bihar engineerng seats (including MopUp Round) will not be filled with JEE Main Exam candidates then Candidates of BCECE Exam will also be eligible to participate in counselling of UGEAC.

As we know counselling on the basis of JEE Main Score is started from 2019, Before that candidates had to give BCECE Exam to participate in Bihar Engineering Counselling process. Due to less no of candidates participate in Counselling so more than 25 percent of total seats remains vacant since last 2 years this decision was taken to conduct bcece exam for engineering colleges also. 
It is also officially announced that 33 percent seats will be reserved for girls  candidates in bihar engineering colleges so that girls also get admission in Bihar Engineering Colleges.
